As I draft this post I am
looking through the front window watching leaves fall. Trees like the tulip tree shown in the photo have now lost most of their leaves. Soon it will be time to
pack away the lawn mower, and already, we’ve moved the snow blower from the
back shed into the garage. Like the outdoors, writing has its own seasons and I’m
settling in for a stretch of non-fiction focus, though I will likely still
write the odd poem or short story depending on deadlines and inclinations.

What I’m Working On
I’ve been working on some book and anthology proposals, with some more
work yet to do. I have some articles to complete, and book reviews on the go as
well.
